Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery was Designed by A.B Hubback, the same architect who designed the majestic buildings in KL such as Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad and the KTM building in KL. Originally constructed as Sultan Sulaeman Building in 1909 and used by the British as a land and Administration office. In 1988, it was officiated as a Muzium Kenangan. The gallery now displays the artifacts of and history of the Sultanate of Selangor since 1766.
